Fìor Insulation & Fire Protection Ltd are a privately owned Irish company specialising in home and commercial insulation and fire protection services. We offer our customers over 20 years of industry experience. We offer a one-stop solution for your fire protection requirements.

Our insulation services include External, Internal and Attic insulation. Our teams survey your home or business premises and advise the customer on which insulation system is best suited for their property.

Services

At Fíor Insulation & Fire Protection Ltd all our operatives are trained and qualified in using high quality products and offering a high-quality service. We specialise in discreet turnkey service for defective apartments built during the 2000s and prior to that. We offer a complete 2-week turnaround from opening up the affected areas and bringing the building up to regulations with a full compartmentation process in conjunction with the fire officers. With over 100 properties completed to date, our success and longevity in business means we will provide the best service.

Insulation

Insulation acts as a barrier to heat flow. It can make your home more comfortable by reducing the amount of heat escaping in winter and reducing the amount of heat entering in summer. By insulating you can significantly reduce your heating bills and help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Fire Protection

The Energy Performance Building Directives (EPBD) demands to consider fire safety when renovating buildings. Using products that meet and exceed national standards can help occupants safely exit a building or remain in a secure place to await rescue.

SEAI Home Energy Grant

On 8 February 2022 the Government approved a package of supports to make it cheaper and easier for homeowners to undertake home energy upgrades for warmer, healthier, and more comfortable homes, with lower energy bills.

The key measures include:

A new National Home Energy Upgrade Scheme providing increased grant levels of up to 50% of the cost of a typical deep retrofit to a B2 BER standard.
Greatly improved grant support under the Home Energy Grants – Individual Energy Upgrades (aka Better Energy Homes).

This process will continue as is with greatly improved grants, up to 80% of cost of works.
